Supporting Masonic Education Across the Rite

Members of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite (Scottish Constitution), Province of Victoria, were delighted to attend the recent meeting of the Southern Cross Chapter of Improvement, Region 3 (Australian Constitution), on Friday, 3 July 2026.

The evening featured an outstanding presentation of the German 18° Degree, delivered to a very high standard through careful preparation, teamwork and attention to detail. The ceremony provided an engaging and educational experience for all in attendance, highlighting the value of sharing ritual knowledge and fostering a deeper appreciation of the Rite.

The Province of Victoria greatly values opportunities to support Masonic education across the various Scottish Rite Constitutions. Events such as these not only broaden our understanding of the Rite’s rich traditions but also strengthen the bonds of friendship and fraternal cooperation between Brethren.

We extend our sincere congratulations to everyone involved in the presentation and thank the Southern Cross Chapter of Improvement for their warm hospitality and generous welcome.

Welcome to Ex. & Perf. Comp. Dimitrios Karanikas

Congratulations to Ex. & Perf. Comp. Dimitrios Karanikas, who was perfected into Mount Calvary Sovereign Chapter No. 182 on Monday, 29 June 2026.

Perfection marks a significant milestone in a Freemason’s journey, opening the door to the further teachings and rich traditions of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite under the Scottish Constitution. We are delighted to welcome Dimitrios into the Mount Calvary Sovereign Chapter family and trust that his Scottish Rite experience will be both rewarding and enriching.

We wish Ex. & Perf. Comp. Dimitrios every success as he progresses through the Rite and look forward to his continued participation and fellowship at many future meetings.

Celebrating Brotherhood at Morton Ray Sovereign Chapter

One of the greatest strengths of the Scottish Rite extends far beyond its ceremonies. It is found in the friendships we build, the shared journey we undertake, and the enduring sense that we are all part of one great family under the Scottish Constitution.

That spirit was evident at the recent meeting of Morton Ray Sovereign Chapter, where V∴Ill∴Bro. Barry Dawson 33°, attending his first meeting as Administrator, had the pleasure of presenting Scottish Rite Certificates to Ex. & Perf. Companions Spiro, Markie and Dion.

These certificates mark an important milestone in each Companion’s Scottish Rite journey, recognising their continued commitment to the Order. More importantly, they symbolise the fellowship, encouragement and mutual support that unite Scottish Rite Masons throughout the Province of Victoria.

We extend our sincere congratulations to Ex. & Perf. Companions Spiro, Markie and Dion on this well-deserved recognition and wish them many years of continued friendship, fulfilment and devoted service within the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite.
