The Province of Victoria is delighted to congratulate V∴Ill∴Bro. Edward Llewellyn 33°, who was promoted to the Thirty-Third Degree and received as a Sovereign Grand Inspector General at the Collingwood Masonic Centre on Monday, 3 August 2026.

The ceremony, held prior to the regular meeting of Emmanuel Sovereign Chapter No. 143, marked the culmination of many years of dedicated service to the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite (Scottish Constitution) and recognised Ed’s unwavering commitment to the growth and wellbeing of the Province.

As a highly respected member of the Consultative Committee, V∴Ill∴Bro. Llewellyn has provided outstanding service and leadership to numerous Sovereign Chapters and Councils throughout Victoria. His willingness to support fellow Brethren, share his experience and contribute to the continued success of the Rite has earned him the admiration and respect of members across the Province.

During the ceremony, the Sovereign Grand Inspector General for the Province of Victoria, V∴Ill∴Bro. Terry Webster 33°, paid tribute to Ed’s dedication and acknowledged him as a most worthy recipient of this distinguished honour.

Promotion to the 33° is one of the highest recognitions within the Scottish Rite, bestowed in acknowledgement of exceptional service and commitment to the principles of the Rite.

The Province of Victoria joins with Brethren throughout the Scottish Rite in extending its warmest congratulations to V∴Ill∴Bro. Edward Llewellyn 33° on this well-deserved promotion and wishes him every success as he continues his distinguished service to the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite.
